HI. We have an issue with our 2830. Small jobs print OK. Large Print Jobs show a USB warning  on the screen and take forever to print. Approximately 1 page per minute.

Anyone know how to stop this.

I insert my flashdrive into the usb port and attempt to print a word document from it but the printer behaves as if it is expecting a camera or media card.  I cant figure out how to access the docs on the flashdrive for printing.  Steps I take are:

1.Press memory device icon on home screen,

2. Insert flash drive into usb

3.  Then nothing, the printer doesn't recognize it.

Any ideas?  Thanks so much!

E525W MFP Error Code 093-932 Replace Cyan Cartridge

Stumped, I have had my Dell e525w Multi function laser printer for a little over a year.

This thing has been a bit finicky from day one but has generally worked without too much trouble.

Lately, I have been getting this 093-932 error message that tells me to replace the Cyan cartridge.  I have replaced the cartridge with a new cartridge twice and keep getting the error message.  I can uninstall and then re-install and it usually works for the next print but then reverts back to the error message.

Any suggestions out there on what I should do to troubleshoot?  I have tried switching the menu from Dell to Non Dell cartridges to see if that would help and it does not.

BTW - I suspect that I am out of warranty.

Problem (memory leak?) with Dell Printer Status Watcher - DLDPHSTS.exe

I have a Dell H625cdw printer recently bought new and installed on my PC with a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit (all possible Windows Updates installed).  I used the most up-to-date H625cdw Software Suite and Driver from Dell support page, and also installed the most updated firmware.  Printer is connected using network cable as it is too far for a USB cable.  I do not print all too often, and leave the printer switched off except when needed.  Since beginning use of this printer, Dell Printer Status Watcher has crashed 11 times, usually later in the evening after the PC has been on all day.  A couple days ago (in the evening time, after PC had been on all day), I opened up Task Manager to check on a separate issue, and noticed that the Dell Printer Status Watcher - DLDPHSTS.exe process was using ~800MB or so of memory.  I thought this was abnormal, but left it alone.  Less than an hour later, Dell Printer Status Watcher crashed.  I wanted to know how much memory the process uses right after booting into Windows, so I restarted my PC.  I checked Task Manager right after reboot, and saw the process was only using ~15MB of memory.  Last night, instead of turning the PC off like I always do, I rebooted my PC and left it on, idle, all night.  I had Performance Monitor track the memory usage of the DLDPHSTS.exe process during this time.  I have attached the graph of the results.  DLDPHSTS.exe consumed ~400MB of memory while the printer was off and the PC otherwise idle.  I am unsure why it then began to level off - as previously mentioned, I saw it get into the 800MB range the other day shortly before crashing.  There is obviously something wrong with this program that needs to be patched/fixed.  There can be no legitimate reason for this small background program to be consuming memory in this way.  And once it crashes, you can no longer turn the printer on and use it unless you reboot PC or login out and back in to Windows, as the printer will be stuck in "Offline" status without DLDPHSTS.exe running in the background to do whatever it is it does.  I have also attached images of the details showing what appears to be 2 different ways that DLDPHSTS.exe crashes - one involving the "clr.dll" file and another involving the "DLF0D002.dll" file.  I would appreciate finding out when this will be looked into for a future patch to the Dell software for this printer.  Thanks.

Where download Firmware Version 200906050911 v8.83 for Dell 1320c Color Printer?

Hi community,

Printer had Firmware Version 200906050911 Network Firmware Version 8.83.

By mistake degraded it to Firmware Version 200809171053 Network Firmware Version 8.80 (used firmware updater provided with old driver).
Updater's file name was: 1320c_FW_200809171053_01-00-07
Guessing the new should be something like 1320c_FW_200906050911...

Search on Dell support and other places does not return any references to new updater (as well as to old one).

Would really appreciate for any idea where to find needed version of firmware.

Thanks in advance!

I always check for new updates to all my dell products (Laptops and printers). As they come out I try to update then.

A few days ago, I seen that there was a new firmware update for my C1765nfw printer that I have not done yet. So, I updating it.

Using my laptop with USB connect to run the firmware update. Everything when fine and show that it was good when done.

But now since I did that update. My printer will not print anything not even a test page. It beeps and shows a message on the display.

"PLJ Request, 016-749 Printer Data Violation. Press green check mark."

Have look on internet and websites about “PLJ” but cannot find a fix for my problem.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem or if there are away to reset the printer back?

Thanks for any help…

3100cn printing black only still rotates carousel for every page

My old 3100cn printer works fine after many years, however if I only print out black pages in Windows 10 it rotates the toner carousel for every page, slowing down the printing speed considerably not to mention the wear on rotating parts. Printing from Windows XP/7 works fine with no excess rotation of the carousel. I guess it's a missing Windows 10 driver issue. Too bad an update isn't planned.

I purchased an e525w laser printer Wednesday, April 12.  Upon initial setup I received a error code - 009-654 CODE 2010000.  I called DELL support (Wednesday night), her name was Lotis.  She tried troubleshooting the problem over the phone - but was unsuccessful.  She escalated the problem with DELL..... I am still waiting to hear back as to what the next steps are.  It is now Saturday, April 15 and I have a  BRAND NEWprinter that I cannot use!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am now reaching out to you in hopes that you can assist me.  I plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau as I am not at all pleased with the assistance I have received from DELL.  I hope that your assistance will help me to leave a more positive note with the BBB rather than being negative.

Dell 1320c Laser Toner Cartridge misfire?

$

Our 1320C has had a breakdown. I got an error that said both the yellow and magenta toner cartridges were empty. I changed both and got a green light to continue printing. It printed three pages and suddenly began sounding like the gears were not in alignment. I opened the front cover and there was dry yellow and magenta toner sprayed over everything.I took it apart and cleaned up the toner, made sure all the gears, that I could see were aligned, put it back together and started it up. Same thing, this time it was just yellow.

Help?

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Dell 3333Dn Toner issues

$

Good Morning,

I hope someone can assist me with my problem.

I have a Dell 3333dn Multifunction printer which is around 2 years old. Recently the toner level low was indicated and I purchased this compatible toner from eBay.

When the toner arrived, I installed the toner but then the machine gave me an error code 32.0 saying cartridge is not recognised. I cleaned the contacts with a lint free cloth, I followed instructions on how to shake the new cartridge and replaced it back in the machine but the problem still persisted.

I then inserted the original cartridge and after warming up, it gave me the same error code ! This cartridge was absolutely fine and its a genuine cartridge from Dell so I don't understand whats gone wrong. I just took a cartridge out and replaced it and nothing else.

I returned the compatible toner and went to my local print and cartridge shop and advised them of the problem, They gave me a cartridge proudly stating that they're cartridges work perfectly.

So I bought one, came home, with the unit unplugged and switched off from the back, I inserted this new cartridge and turned the machine on. After its initialising stage, the machine was perfect for about 10 secs when it bleeped showing the same error.

The unit was working perfectly and have never had any issues in the 2 years I have had it for.

The problem is annoying as my mac gets used every day and all day long printing out forms, letters etc but now I can't do anything until I get this sorted.

If anyone has a clue whats happening and why its happening, please do advise me on how to fix this.

All help and advise will be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Error Trying to Scan Using Dell Document Hub

$

I have been using the Dell Document Hub for about a year without any issues. I use it mostly for scanning. I was able to scan from the app using my iPhone 6. I needed to reset my iPhone and re-install my apps. Now, when I try to scan, I get an error: "Error - Failed to Scan". I've reinstalled the app a few times. Same issue. I can see my Dell 1765 printer and can even print a test page. I've tried everything and nothing seems to work. I can scan from the app using an iPad with an older iOS. I wonder if it has anything to do with my iPhone's iOS (10.3.1).
