Never in my life have I used a printer that has so many connection issues. This 525 WILL NOT WAKE UP TO PRINT no matter what I do! I've tried everything. Updated the firmware, restored the printer to default. Erased the NVM, Tried 3 different laptops, 2 running windows 10, the third running Windows 7. I've switched out my router, set static DHCP, used the Dell software install application, tried using Windows install via TCP/IP settings instead of the software. It does not work no matter what I do!
I finally gave up on the wireless aspect and ran an ethernet cable through the wall to hardwire the connection. It STILL WON'T WAKE UP!!!!
I've wasted 1+ day trying to get something as simple as a printer to turn on and print without having to turn it off and on first!
Is it really THAT DIFFICULT to have the option in the printer settings to disable deep sleep mode???
I probably will bring it outside and smash it to pieces with my sledge hammer. Stay tuned for the Youtube video.
I will never again purchase a product with the Dell nameplate as long as I live.
